The ease of a design tool, on the website you actually run.
Design tools like Claude Design made it easy to describe a page and refine it by commenting on what to change. Tracy brings that way of working to real Joomla, WordPress and EmDash sites, and keeps a record of supported changes.
How Tracy works like a design tool, on a real CMS
Works like a design tool
- Describe what you want, or pick a design you like, and get a first version.
- Click an element on the page, or say what to change in chat.
- Keep refining in your own language until it looks right.
Runs on a real CMS
- Start from a template in our library, or import an existing WordPress or Joomla site.
- A real Joomla, WordPress or EmDash site, with the admin your team already knows.
- Recorded changes in Site changes, with where they came from. Undo one change where supported or restore a backup. Undo and restore scope vary by action and platform. EmDash has no file history or request Undo; its backups restore database and media, not template code. External effects cannot be recalled.
- Seats and roles for each person on each site.
Agencies feel this pain first: dozens of WordPress and Joomla sites, small requests every week, and a record needed for each client. Tracy keeps seats, roles, changes and rollback tied to the site.
The decisions behind Tracy
Writing access
The agent reads within your site role’s access. Your site role decides what it may write.
Reviewing changes
Approving every step turns a five-minute job into twenty questions. Tracy makes ordinary changes directly, records supported changes, and makes available rollback options part of the workflow. It asks for targeted confirmation before consequential actions.
Your platform, not ours
Your site runs on WordPress, Joomla or EmDash, with the admin panel your team already knows. If you stop using Tracy, your site is kept and can still be downloaded for 6 more months.
Built for many client sites, not one project
Agencies felt this first: many client sites, small requests every week, and a record needed for each one. Seats, roles and a per-site record exist for that.
What Tracy is not
Questions behind the product decision
What does "Claude Design, but for your live CMS" mean?
It means the ease of a design tool on a real, running site. You describe what you want, point at what to change and refine it in your own language. The change lands on a real Joomla, WordPress or EmDash site with its own admin, not a mockup, and supported changes are listed in Site changes so you can review them and undo them where supported. History and undo depend on the platform. Only existing WordPress and Joomla sites can be imported. An imported site is a copy you work on first, and it goes live when you point your domain to it.
Is Tracy made by Anthropic?
No. Tracy is not made by or affiliated with Anthropic. Claude Design is Anthropic's product; Tracy uses the comparison to describe how it works.
How is Tracy different from an AI website builder?
Most AI website builders focus on creating a first version. Tracy also handles imports, edits, Site changes, roles and rollback after launch.
Why does Tracy focus on WordPress and Joomla?
Many agencies already manage long-running WordPress and Joomla sites. Tracy is built to work with those real platforms instead of asking teams to rebuild elsewhere.
Does Tracy replace the CMS admin panel?
No. The site remains a normal WordPress, Joomla or EmDash site with its own admin panel.
Why does rollback matter?
AI edits are easier to trust when recorded changes are visible and there are available undo or backup options if the edit is not right. Recovery depends on the action and platform.
